Previously, we looked at the value of points at different stages of a volleyball set. For that article we used data from the Polish Plusliga men’s competition — but do we see the same patterns in other leagues?

Here we repeat the analyses using data from the German Bundesliga (first division, men’s and women’s — data courtesy Michael Mattes) and NCAA Division 1 women’s. For each plot, we have shown the corresponding plot from the original analysis (of the Polish PlusLiga men’s competition) on the right for reference.
