General Agreement

Your use of Science Untangled’s services is at your sole risk, regardless of whether you are paying a subscription or using our free services. Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Our apps undergo a continual testing and improvement process. However, due to the nature of the apps (particularly the fact that users can provide arbitrary data in their input files) no guarantee is given of their accuracy, and no liability will be accepted for inaccuracies or omissions in the output. Be aware that the outputs from these apps can be affected by errors or inconsistencies in your data, which in general are impossible for the apps to detect or correct. Note also that different scouts use different scouting conventions, and it is not possible to anticipate or cater for all possible variations in these conventions.

Termination and Discontinuation of Services

You are free to cancel your subscription at any time. Subscriptions can be cancelled through the ‘Subscription and details’ button in the apps, or by sending an email to

If you cancel your subscription your access to our services will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

We may decide to discontinue our services in response to unforeseen circumstances, including events beyond our control. If we discontinue the services in this way we’ll refund the portion of the subscription fees you have paid but haven’t yet received services for.

Intellectual Property, and Abuse and Misuse of Our Services

Science Untangled allows the upload of scouted match, video and other files to our systems for use with our apps. Your files remain your property and we do not use them for any other purpose, nor share them anywhere, without your explicit written consent.

Science Untangled’s services must not be used for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. Prohibited purposes include but are not limited to the storage, use, or distribution of material protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right without proper authorization from the intellectual property holder, and the storage, use, or distribution of material that is defamatory or constitutes an illegal threat.

Science Untangled does not actively monitor files stored on our systems. All content uploaded by you while using our services is your sole responsibility. Under no circumstances will Science Untangled be held responsible for the behaviour of our users when found to be using or distributing protected or illegal content.

Sensitive Video Files

Only you (and anyone you have granted permission to) can use your videos in our apps. However, our apps require that all videos — including those stored on the Science Untangled systems — are accessible through a simple link. Video files on our system are given a randomized link that is obscure, can’t easily be guessed, and is not catalogued or listed anywhere on our systems. Nevertheless, a video file with this kind of link is viewable by anyone who knows the URL. Please be aware that there is therefore a possibility beyond our control that your video files might be discovered by other people, and so sensitive video files (that should not be publicly accessible) should not be used on our system.
